Ron Mann is currently Vice President for Bentrust Financial. Bentrust is a privately owned financial counseling firm specializing in risk management assessment for corporations, high-net worth individuals, executives and entrepreneurs. Prior to joining Bentrust, Ron was the Managing Partner and Founder of The Capri Group, a Business Consulting and Strategic Planning company with offices in Miami. Ron is a 22-year veteran of the Media, Communications and Publishing industries - with specific experience in Marketing, Sales and Management.  Ron was part of the original launch team of Miami New Times (1987) and has also published such media properties as the New York Press, Avenue Magazine as well as several start-ups in the Magazine and Internet fields. Ron was also the head of US operations for Rediff International – a publicly traded (NASDAQ: REDF) Media and Technology company based in Mumbai, India, with offices in New York, Chicago and San Francisco. In 2003, Ron became an investor in SouthFloridaCEO Magazine and subsequently led a group in the purchase of SouthFloridaCEO and South Florida Legal Guide. As President & Publisher, Ron was instrumental in increasing circulation, distribution and revenue as well as launching both a custom publishing and conference division.

Ron is the Chairman and Co-Founder of The Miami Finance Forum, a not-for-profit membership organization comprised of professionals and executives from the world of finance. Ron also currently serves on the Board of Junior Achievement and the Dade County School Boards Improvement Zone Task Force. Ron is also on the board of the 2010 South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee as well as the Board of Advisors of The Havana Club. Ron is an Ambassador Board Member for Mercy Hospital and a member of the Miami Dolphins Charitable Foundations Annual Fishing Tournament.  Ron is a graduate of the University of Miami (BA/Communications 86’).
